Activate “Fashion Source Creation Platform” Guangzhou International Textile City to open a new future

As the forefront of China’s fashion industry, Guangzhou has a world-class textile and apparel supply chain, a fashion shopping mall, and a fashion professional trade fair platform. In order to help the fashion industry in Guangzhou and even the Greater Bay Area achieve sustainable development, recently, the “Fashion Source Creation Platform” of Guangzhou International Textile City was officially launched in the industry’s expectations.
At the project launching ceremony, Guangzhou International Textile City shared that it will focus on the four major fashion ecological elements of talents, products, information and resources on the basis of the “100 billion market”, and started to build the “Fashion Source Creation Platform” including an original design center, a research and innovation center, the fashion trend center, and the industry alliance center, which will bring unlimited vitality to the industry’s creative fashion.
Recently, at the 2019 China Textile and Apparel Brand Conference hosted by China National Textile and Apparel Council, Guangzhou International Textile City won the honorary title of “the fourth batch of textile and apparel creative design pilot parks (platforms)” issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
At the “Fashion Future in the Greater Bay Area” industry forum held on the same day, all participants discussed the opportunities and challenges of the development of the fashion industry in Guangzhou, especially how to stimulate the four factors of the fashion industry mentioned above.
