The 13th China Forum on Textile and Apparel Standard and Quality Management was grandly held

On November 22-23, the 13th China Forum on Textile and Apparel Standard and Quality Management was held in Humen. This forum was hosted by the Testing Center of CNTAC, Standards and Testing Professional Committee of China Textile Engineering Society, co-organized by Humen Garment Industry Management Committee, and supported by 8 companies including Tai Chi Stone Co., Ltd. The theme is to discuss the collaborative innovation and social responsibility of quality management, explore new ideas and new models, promote industrial integration and industry information sharing, promote the innovation and upgrade of enterprise quality management models, and achieve high-quality development.
The China Forum on Textile and Apparel Standard and Quality Management, founded in 2007, aims to spread the most advanced quality management models and technologies at home and abroad, and to solve confusion or problems in the industry. It has made important contributions and is known as an academic event for the quality and standards of the textile and apparel industry. Since its inception, it has attracted the attention of leaders of relevant national departments and well-known standards and testing experts, scholars and entrepreneurs at home and abroad.
This forum innovated in content and form, invited relevant national departments, domestic and international authoritative standards institutions, domestic and foreign brands and experts and scholars to share around “creativity and responsibility”, and also opened “Clothing Supply Chain Risk Management” and “ “New Standards, New Technologies, New Trends” will provide participants with more comprehensive information and more discussion and participation opportunities, and promote more adequate and effective communication.
At the beginning of the meeting, Fu Guangwei, executive vice chairman of the China Textile Engineering Society and director of the Testing Center of the CNTAC, proceeded from the four major aspects of product development system, quality assurance system, trade promotion system, and social responsibility system. “Growth Together—Provide Complete Quality Assurance Solutions for Textile and Apparel Enterprises”, and gave a detailed interpretation of the new logo of UTS.
UTS will build the world's largest textile and apparel and consumer quality technical service platform. The new LOGO contains six meanings: “fairness, technology, service, wisdom, sailing, and us”, which means that UTS is as fair as a balance, while the quality side is the standard; UTS wins customers with technology; service wins the market; UTS must be a smart solution provider of industry quality technology; UTS must work together to go overseas and build service outlets around the world.
In the keynote speech, Liu Xiande, deputy director of the Department of Accreditation, Inspection Supervision and Management of the State Administration for Market regulation, gave a keynote speech on “The Status Quo and Development Trend of Textile Testing Institutions” and analyzed the status quo of China's textile testing industry, and explore its future development trends.
The “Textile Quality Management Innovation Award” is sponsored by the China Textile Information Center. It aims to improve product quality and management level, enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises and the industry, and establish a model of quality management in the textile industry. According to the comprehensive assessment of the application materials and test results, 48 award-winning enterprises were finally judged. At the 13th China Forum on Textile and Apparel Standard and Quality Management “Tai Chi Stone Dynamic Night” awards ceremony held in the evening, the organizers held a grand award ceremony for 48 companies that won the 2019 Quality Management Innovation Award.
