Textile and apparel innovation thoughts: Grasp the essence of the whole industry innovation

On the evening of June 4th, the 2019 Textile and Apparel Innovation Thoughts with the theme of “Insight, Leading, and Breakthrough” was held in Yan’an.
Gao Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary General of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, former President Du Yuzhou, Vice President Xia Lingmin, Executive Vice President of China Textile Enterprise Association Yang Jun, President and Editor-in-Chief of China Textile Magazine Xu Hong, etc., as well as representatives of the 2018 textile industry’s annual innovation figures, attended the event. In this conference, representatives of innovative figures conducted innovative exchanges of ideas with diverse views and practical references. The conference will be chaired by Zhao Hong, vice president of China Knitting Industry Association and deputy director of China Textile Magazine.
The annual innovators in the textile industry have been selected by the China National Textile and Apparel Council since 2005, and 260 innovators have been selected so far. As the organizer of the annual innovative figures of China National Textile and Apparel Council, China Textile Magazine has been highly concerned by the industry and enterprises and widely praised by the society since it held the high-end talks of “Textile and Apparel Innovation Thoughts” in 2017. It can be said that through face-to-face experience sharing, zero-distance contacts and exchanges, these innovative experiences have been constantly nurturing new business opportunities and strengths.
In his speech, Xia Lingmin, vice president of China National Textile and Apparel Council, expressed his congratulations on being elected as the annual innovation figure of China Textile Industry in 2018. He pointed out that the recognition of innovative figures has been the 14th this year. Represented by innovative figures, both managers and researchers and educators of scientific research institutes represent the spirit of hard work and continuous innovation. What is reflected in the innovative characters is the spirit of the industry and a reflection of the spirit of Yan’an. So holding this year here has an unusual meaning.
Ju Xinyu, deputy editor-in-chief of China Textile Magazine, introduced the development history and characteristics of China Textile, as well as the convening of the “2019 Textile and Apparel Innovation Thoughts”. He said that the event had far-reaching significance in going into Yan’an, the holy place of revolution, and revisiting the spirit of Yan’an. The theme of this event is “Insight, Leading, and Breakthrough”. It is hoped that in the face of the complex and changeable situation, we will explore new cooperation modes and mechanisms based on the innovative experience of our respective enterprises, and accelerate the transformation and development of “science and technology, fashion and green” industry.
