Recently, the Sino-U.S. trade dispute has become the focus of industry attention. Yuan Jianlong, the executive president of Henan Textile Industry Association, said that the association reported to the provincial government and relevant departments the operation of the province’s textile industry.

The Sino-U.S. trade conflict has led to a reduction in orders, a fall in prices, an increase in inventories and an increase in the risk of accounts receivable for some enterprises. How to deal with it? Yuan Jianlong put forward six measures: First, to continue to maintain a prudent attitude, pay attention to the progress of trade conflicts, pay attention to commodity price fluctuations, pay attention to oil, tariffs, exchange rate and other factors. Secondly, we should clear up our thinking, do a good job in the allocation of domestic demand market, intensify product research and development, strengthen the market carrying capacity in many fields, digest inventory rationally and differentially, formulate production according to the sales situation, and procure prudently. Thirdly, we should take supply-side reform as the starting point, adjust the allocation of raw materials and try to avoid the competition with Southeast Asian yarns. Fourthly, we should give full play to our advantages, improve the competitiveness of our products, improve the bargaining power of our products, and choose multiple channels for purchasing, so as to maintain the stability at different stages. Fifthly, we should pay close attention to the government’s encouraging policies and guidance, fully tap the market potential, further enhance the potential of enterprises, reduce consumption and achieve high-quality development. Sixthly, firm belief, face up to contradictions, be brave in exploring and tackle with unity.
