U.S. imports of cotton, wool, man-made fiber, silk blends, and non-cotton, vegetable fiber textile and apparel products totaled 4,647.7 million square meter equivalents (MSME) in June 2020, a decline of 18.8% compared to June 2019, of which, that of China were 2,417.5 MSME, a decline of 13.8% compared to August 2019. U.S. imports of textiles were 3,147,7 MSME in June 2020, down 8.5% from June 2019. U.S. imports of apparel were 1,500.0 MSME in June 2020, down 34.3% from June 2019.

U.S. imports of textile and apparel were 26,853.6 MSME for the year-to-date June 2020, a decline of 19.7% from year-to-date June 2019, of which, that of China were 10,830.8 MSME, a decline of 26.7% compared to August 2019. U.S. imports of textiles were 17,189.7 MSME for the year-to-date June 2020, a decline of 14.3% from the year-to-date June 2019. U.S. apparel imports for the year-to-date June 2020 were 9,664.0 MSME, down 27.9% from the year-to-date June 2019.
