Recently, the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council held a press conference on the orderly progress of private enterprises and SMEs in resuming production. At the meeting, Xu Kemin, director of the Industrial Policy and Regulation Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that at present, the international pandemic situation is spreading rapidly, and the textile industry, especially small and medium-sized textile enterprises, reflects three difficulties: First, insufficient demand. Second, the pressure on stable employment in the industry has increased. Third, the enterprise is short of funds. Xu Kemin pointed out that government departments at all levels are actively taking action against the outstanding problems reflected by enterprises. First, we will promote the implementation of the policies that have been issued to help enterprises. Some places are also introducing some measures to help the textile industry. Second, we will help enterprises transform into production and operate stably. Third, we should take multiple measures to help enterprises expand market demand. Fourth, we will give full play to the role of information technology in supporting industrial upgrading.
