On December 20, the 2019 China Textile Military-civilian Dual-Use Technology Development Conference was grandly held in Beijing Capital Hotel. The conference invited academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, experts from military colleges, military industry groups, quartermaster units, scientific research institutes, and professors from textile universities to interpret the application and development of fiber materials, functional textiles and intelligent wearable in logistics support, combat, training and military equipment matching, and military engineering, which is of great significance to the textile industry in-depth understanding of the latest scientific and technological progress, military requirements, and determination of future military and civilian dual-use technology research directions.
The conference announced the results of the first “Military Uniform Cultural Creative Design Competition”. The content is to promote military culture, explore new textile materials and new technology applications. At the conference, the “2019 China Textile Industry Military-civilian Dual-use Technology and Product Catalog” and “2019 China National Textile and Apparel Council Textile Industry Military-civilian Dual-Use Technology Innovation Achievement” were released. The Catalogue will be regularly updated and distributed to national ministries and commissions, quartermaster units, military industrial enterprises and key enterprises in the industry. It will play an important role in promoting the dual-use textile technology, product innovation and industrial chain collaboration, promoting the development of advanced textile technology and product service defense army, and promoting the high-quality development of the textile industry. “Textile Military-civilian Technology Innovation Achievements” has established a platform for the display of military-civilian technology innovation achievements, which is of great significance to promote the collaborative innovation of military-civilian science and technology, discovered excellent military-civilian technology, promote the transformation and application of military-civilian technology innovation achievements, and promote the technical progress of textile industry.
In the product display area set up by the conference, a large number of new products and technologies emerged during the development of textile and military dual-use technology, including fiber raw materials products, emergency protection, aerospace, military supplies, military equipment, geotechnical synthetic materials and other categories.
