Shangcheng County has rich labor resources and high quality. The total population of the county is 780,000, and the annual output of labor is stable at about 250,000, of which 100,000 have high school education and higher production and service skills.
In recent years, the Shangcheng County Party Committee and County Government have made great efforts to build a high-quality service platform, and plan to build a provincial-level industrial agglomeration area with 11.7 square kilometers of land and supporting facilities. Water, electricity, roads, gas, telecommunications, public rental housing and other supporting facilities in the agglomeration area are complete. Two leading industries of manufacturing and agricultural and sideline products processing have been formed, and 91 enterprises above the designated size have settled.
At this stage, China textile and apparel industry is accelerating into an innovation-driven technology industry, a culturally-led fashion industry, and a responsibility-oriented green industry. “Technology, fashion, and green” is becoming a new positioning for the new era industry. With this as a guide, we are actively exploring the development model of environmental protection industry, and are committed to building the industrial cluster area of Shangcheng County into a provincial-level environmental protection industrial park. At present, the environmental protection equipment manufacturing industry pattern in Shangcheng County has taken shape, the infrastructure in the industrial agglomeration area is becoming more and more perfect, and the conditions for undertaking environmental protection industry transfer are basically in place.
In recent years, Shangcheng County is committed to boosting the county’s economic development with the “beautiful countryside +” model. Through “beautiful countryside + e-commerce, tourism, and industry”, Shangcheng County is bigger and stronger, and walks out a characteristic “village revitalization” development road.
