Basic situation of economic operation of dyeing and printing industry from January to May 2019

From January to May 2019, the output of dyeing and printing fabrics of dyeing and printing enterprises above designated size was 19.668 billion meters, an increase of 10.48% year-on-year.
From January to May 2019, the ratio of three fees for dyeing and printing enterprises above designated size was 6.84%, a decrease of 0.04 percentage points year-on-year, among which, 6.60% for cotton dyeing and printing enterprises and 8.76% for chemical fiber dyeing and printing enterprises. The cost expense profit rate was 4.48%, an increase of 0.47 percentage points year-on-year; the sales profit rate was 4.23%, an increase of 0.42 percentage points year-on-year; the finished product turnover rate was 8.84 times/year, an increase of 2.91% year-on-year; the accounts receivable turnover rate was 3.40 times/year. The year-on-year increase was 9.39%; the total asset turnover rate was 0.44 times/year, a decrease of 2.08% year-on-year.
From January to May of 2019, 1,621 dyeing and printing enterprises above designated size achieved a main business income of 111.241 billion yuan, an increase of 0.84% year-on-year; the total profit reached 4.71 billion yuan, an increase of 11.96% year-on-year.
From January to May 2019, there were 402 loss-making enterprises of dyeing and printing enterprises above designated size, with a loss of 24.80%, an increase of 2.04 percentage points over the same period of 2018; the loss of loss-making enterprises totaled 859 million yuan, a decrease of 12.67% compared with the same period of 2018.
