Techtextil 2026, the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, was held in Frankfurt, Germany, from April 21–24. The event brought together over 1,500 exhibitors from 49 countries, with a strong focus on AI applications and green sustainability. China was represented by a delegation of more than 100 companies occupying 2,000 square meters of exhibition space—the largest ever Chinese presence at the fair and second only to the host nation. The exhibition means a lot for Chinese companys in expanding business trade, building brand images, deepening global communication and exploreing new opportunities as well as many other aspects. During the event, Li Guimei, president of CNITA, Lin Yinghua, vice president of CCPIT TEX, Win Ting and She Shihui, general manager of Frankfurt Exhibition (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. , and other guests visited Tayho Advanced Materials, Shaanxi Yuanfeng Unifull, Hailide, Bangwei Putai, and Sinowin Chemical Fiber, as well as global players such as Care Holding, CHT, EMS CHEMIE—exchanging views on the latest trends and developments in technical textiles and nonwovens. Li Guimei gave a keynote presentation on the current state and development trends of China’s technical textiles industry.
