From April 15–22, a delegation led by Li Guimei (President of CNITA) and Ding Bin (Vice President of Shanghai Polytechnic University) visited the UK and Germany. The delegation attended the TFW academic conference, visited the University of Manchester, University College London (UCL), University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, the British Standards Institution (BSI), the British Textile Technology Group (BTTG), and BWF Group, and toured Techtextil 2026 in Frankfurt. Li Guimei and Professor Ding Bin each delivered keynote presentations at the exhibition and the TFW conference, respectively. At Techtextil, the delegation visited the booths of leading international and Chinese companies—including Tayho Advanced Materials, Shaanxi Yuanfeng Unifull, Hailide, Bangwei Putai, and Sinowin Chemical Fiber, as well as global players such as Care Holding, CHT, EMS CHEMIE—exchanging views on the latest trends and developments in technical textiles and nonwovens.
