International Textile Manufacturers Federation President, China National Textile and Apparel Council President Sun Ruizhe said，“From 2015 to 2021, China's textile industry investment in RCEP members accounted for 37% of the total investment in the textile industry. In 2021, The textile import and export trade between China and RCEP member states and regions totaled 98.76 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 28.7% of the industry's foreign trade. China exported textiles and clothing to RCEP countries wasUS $87.04 billion, accounting for about 28% of China's global textile exports. The import of textiles and clothing reached US $11.72 billion, accounting for about 42% of China's global textile imports.”

From November 23-25, the 15th Global Textile and ApparelSupply Chain Conference was held in Pingnan County, Guigang City, Guangxi Province.
At the Conference, 26 major projects with a total investment of 16.6 billion yuan, 15 enterprises signed contracts to enter the China (Guigang) Textile and Garment Fashion New Area, and jointly build the China Textile and ApparelSupply Chain Research Institute strategic cooperation series of projects were implemented.
Xu Yongke, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and vice chairman of the Guangxi Autonomous Region, said that Guangxi attaches great importance to the development of the textile and garment industry and is promoting the transformation and upgrading of the textile and garment industry and the development of industrial clusters.
He Luchun, Party secretary of Guigang, said, " Guigang will use the conference to build a national first-class and internationally renowned textile and garment of the whole industrial chain.”

"Guigang Textile and Garment Enterprises MatchingMeeting" attracted more than 30 excellent textile enterprises from Guigang, Pingnan, Fujian, Jiangsu and more than 20 famous brand domestic brand clothing and home textile enterprises to participate.
The two sides exchanged views on creative design, technological innovation, material application and other topics, and some enterprises reached preliminary cooperation intentions.
At the theme conference, the ten experts explained the economic development, digital supply chain, sustainable development, flexible supply chain, traditional cultural empowerment and other aspects. They focus on three themes: "Digital-driven and Green Supply Chain" and "Fashion Leads Sustainable Development".
