The reporter learned from Keqiao District Bureau of Commerce that from January to May, the region realized self-import and export value of 37.981 billion yuan, up 50.2 percent year-on-year, among which the export value of 36.932 billion yuan, up 52.7 percent year-on-year, making it the first in the city and the forefront of the province.

According to the data, from January to May, there were 4,216 export enterprises, an increase of 272 compared with the same period last year. Textile and garment exports amounted to 30.437 billion yuan, up 45.0 percent year-on-year; 180 import and export countries and regions, exports to the countries along “Belt and Road” reached 21.946 billion yuan, up 59.2 percent year-on-year. Market purchases totaled USD 567.43 million, and cross-border e-commerce exports totaled 30,700 orders, totaling USD 928,000.
